Interactive was founded and headquartered in Melbourne since 1988 and is Australia’s largest, privately-held, IT company (acknowledged by BRW) with over 650+ staff.

Interactive is a supplier of choice for Cloud and Managed Services, Data Centre, Business Continuity and Hardware Maintenance for more than 2000 of Australia’s leading corporations. Our dedicated Australian based customer service team take an average 3,500 calls per month resolving over 36,000 maintenance calls each year.


At Interactive, we build superior customer relationships, fostered through regular communication as a trusted partner to align to our customer’s goals.  Our priority is to provide the environment that allows our customers to focus on what they are great at, by delivering a highly stable environment, resilient network and secured Cyber Security services.  


Our experience in delivering flexible multi-cloud solutions to our customers ensures Interactive as a partner with the required experience and capabilities to recommend solutions for business outcomes.  Interactive also hosts Australia's largest Private Cloud.


Interactive’s Health business unit has established a Health Platform in public cloud that has been architected in line with IRAP and HIPPA models. The platform provides a tenancy that delivers the required security environment to protect health information and research data along with personal private medical information. The tenancy is designed to mitigate risk and cost through the adoption of containerised application support.  


The Health tenancy importantly provides a customer managed outcome for Clinical and Non-Clinical Applications, featuring Point of Care, Biometric Secuirity for Time and Attendance, Identification and Access for the Acute, Primary/Community and Aged Care sectors. 


All Interactive services, including our Service Desk and NOC, are located onshore, within Australia.  All data is managed in line with Australian legislation and subject to the Australian Notifiable Data Breach Scheme. 


Our security systems are enterprise grade and are maturely maintained and operated.  Security services are leveraged both by default on all services and are available separately as required.  Interactive have an onshore 24x7 Security Operations Centre (SoC) to further reduce the risk posture of our customer footprints, ensuring risk is managed and mitigated to the highest degree possible. 


In preparing for our sustainability strategy, we have conducted a materiality assessment, mapped our plans against the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and we are currently making plans for ISO14001 certification and to report against the Global Reporting Index (GRI).
